Such A Boy....

Mitch got down my Tupperware box of Valentine's Day stuff from the attic and put it in the kitchen. It has been there for 2 days or so. I didn't think a thing of having it on the floor. Chapman was enjoying pulling the drawer open on it and putting his cup in there but that was all. Well, yesterday, I came into the room and he was trying to climb on top of it. He eventually made it on top and was smiling so big. It was hilarious. He kept getting off of it and then climbing on top again. This went on for 20 minutes or so. Here are some pictures. He's SUCH a boy!!!!!!

Chapman was really proud of himself! And, by last night he was STANDING on the box and really thought he was big. Mitch and I were cracking up. Mitch had to take to box back out to the garage which made the little guy mad. But, I was really worried he'd hurt himself! Anyway, gotta love it!

This One's For You, Pops!!!

Since Chapman has been in this world my dad has called him the "King." I don't know if it's because he is so darn cute, sweet, etc (I'm his mom so I can say this!), or if it's because he has any number of adults at his disposal at any given time dying to do whatever we can for him! : ) So, I thinks it's the latter for some reason! Anyway, I found this shirt last year and he wore it yesterday and I just had to take some pictures!

He sure is our little King!!!!

Chapman's New "Toy"

So Chapman found a new "toy" to play with today. I was doing laundry and emptying out the hamper. He was standing there looking inside it. So I put him in it. Not with the lid on, don't freak out grandma's : ) !!!!! But, he loved it. When I say loved it I mean that he cried when I made him get out. He just sat in there. I don't know what it was that made it so fun. Just thought I'd share some pictures.

Our San Diego Trip

The Hogan family went to San Diego last week for vacation. My dad had a meeting there so we all tagged along. It was a blast! Chapman did so well on the airplane (I was concerned about this)! But, with 6 adults (mom, dad, Christie & Billy, Betsy and me ((Mitch couldn't go - he had to work and we missed him terribly!)) ) we figured we could handle him. : ) San Diego was absolutely beautiful. Our hotel was on the bay and we walked all over the place. We visited the Hotel Del Coronado and went on the beach. The water was so cold but Chapman wanted to get in. I took his shoes off and let him walk in the water. My feet were freezing so I know his were. Nonetheless he loved it. He loves water in any form and pitched a fit when I picked him up to remove him from it. I was afraid he would try and go under like he does in the bath tub and then he would really be miserable! Honestly, he was wonderful the whole trip and went with the flow. We ate some delicious cuisine, saw some beautiful places, visited with some old friends and shopped a lot! It was a wonderful trip and I'm so glad we were all able to go.

Christmas 2008

We had so much fun with Chapman this year at Christmas. He loved tearing the wrapping paper off of the gifts and had a blast playing with all of his new toys! Here are a few pictures.

Of course a baseball on a tee and bat are needed for the grandson of a baseball coach! : )

Chapman got a wagon from his Grandma & Grandpa Ogles! We can't wait to take

him on a stroll when it gets warmer!

We had such a fun time seeing everyone over the holidays. God has richly blessed our lives in so many ways! We are so thankful!
