Popsicle Time!!

We gave Chapman a popsicle last night for the first time. He didn't understand what to do at first. He kept trying to bite off really big pieces. When he bit them off, he immediately spit them out and made a face like, "That was too cold for me!" Once he got the hang of it he loved it!

At first we had him sit at his table to eat it because he was making a huge mess with it dripping all over.

Then Mitch decided to put him behind the gate in the kitchen because he kept getting up and walking around the house. Which meant that popsicle juice was dripping everywhere!

This is him examining the gate.

And here is his enjoying his first popsicle in the "penalty box" as Mitch called it! : )

Easter Fun!

We had such a fun Easter Break! Prior to Easter, Chapman attended a few Easter egg hunts. He had so much fun finding eggs. I hid them for him & Ally I think 3 different times one day. They had such a good time! For Easter, we went to Murray, KY to watch my dad's baseball games and then Mitch met us in Memphis on Saturday night. We spent the night in Memphis with my parents and on Sunday we went to The Peabody Hotel to show Chapman the ducks (which he loved!) and walked around downtown. We had such a good Easter!

On another note, we are so thankful to have Easter to celebrate! Praise the Lord for our Risen Savior! For some reason around Easter, I always have these lyrics in my head & heart, "I'll never know how much it cost, to see my sin upon that cross....." How true those words are. Thank you Lord for giving your Son for Me!!!

Playing "Baw"

Chapman's new favorite thing is to play "Baw!" This is great since his Pops is a baseball coach. Everything he sees on television that has anything to do with sports, he points and says, "Baw, Baw, Baw!" He gets so excited. Since it has been so pretty here we have been spending a lot of time outside. Chapman finds the ball in the backyard and throws it and Sophie gets it and then they start over. It is so funny to watch them. In the first picture, he looks like he may be a left-handed pitcher! Look out Pops, we may need some lessons!!! And, look out MLB, looks like we may have a Pro on our hands! : )

So Big!!!

We went to playgroup today with the UMC Alliance at the Tole's house and Chapman had so much fun! He played so hard with all of his friends. Nicole had a picnic lunch for the kids and Chapman sat at the table like such a big boy and ate his lunch. He is getting so big! I just thought this was a cute photo opp. Here he is with his friends having chicken nuggets and fruit for lunch!

Our Little Helper

Whenever Chapman sees me sweeping, he always goes and finds the dust pan and puts it on the floor for me. It is so funny because he knows what to do with it! I am hoping this means he will be a great little cleaner one day! Here are some pictures of him "helping" me.

What We've Been Up To...

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted on our blog. I feel like we've been so busy lately. We went to Cape Girardeau a few weeks ago to visit family and hang out. It was really fun. Here are some pictures of Chapman and his cousin Caden.

Chapman and Reagan on a ride in the wagon on a pretty day in February. He loves his wagon!!

Such A Boy....

Mitch got down my Tupperware box of Valentine's Day stuff from the attic and put it in the kitchen. It has been there for 2 days or so. I didn't think a thing of having it on the floor. Chapman was enjoying pulling the drawer open on it and putting his cup in there but that was all. Well, yesterday, I came into the room and he was trying to climb on top of it. He eventually made it on top and was smiling so big. It was hilarious. He kept getting off of it and then climbing on top again. This went on for 20 minutes or so. Here are some pictures. He's SUCH a boy!!!!!!

Chapman was really proud of himself! And, by last night he was STANDING on the box and really thought he was big. Mitch and I were cracking up. Mitch had to take to box back out to the garage which made the little guy mad. But, I was really worried he'd hurt himself! Anyway, gotta love it!
