This One's For You, Pops!!!

Since Chapman has been in this world my dad has called him the "King." I don't know if it's because he is so darn cute, sweet, etc (I'm his mom so I can say this!), or if it's because he has any number of adults at his disposal at any given time dying to do whatever we can for him! : ) So, I thinks it's the latter for some reason! Anyway, I found this shirt last year and he wore it yesterday and I just had to take some pictures!

He sure is our little King!!!!

Chapman's New "Toy"

So Chapman found a new "toy" to play with today. I was doing laundry and emptying out the hamper. He was standing there looking inside it. So I put him in it. Not with the lid on, don't freak out grandma's : ) !!!!! But, he loved it. When I say loved it I mean that he cried when I made him get out. He just sat in there. I don't know what it was that made it so fun. Just thought I'd share some pictures.

Our San Diego Trip

The Hogan family went to San Diego last week for vacation. My dad had a meeting there so we all tagged along. It was a blast! Chapman did so well on the airplane (I was concerned about this)! But, with 6 adults (mom, dad, Christie & Billy, Betsy and me ((Mitch couldn't go - he had to work and we missed him terribly!)) ) we figured we could handle him. : ) San Diego was absolutely beautiful. Our hotel was on the bay and we walked all over the place. We visited the Hotel Del Coronado and went on the beach. The water was so cold but Chapman wanted to get in. I took his shoes off and let him walk in the water. My feet were freezing so I know his were. Nonetheless he loved it. He loves water in any form and pitched a fit when I picked him up to remove him from it. I was afraid he would try and go under like he does in the bath tub and then he would really be miserable! Honestly, he was wonderful the whole trip and went with the flow. We ate some delicious cuisine, saw some beautiful places, visited with some old friends and shopped a lot! It was a wonderful trip and I'm so glad we were all able to go.

Christmas 2008

We had so much fun with Chapman this year at Christmas. He loved tearing the wrapping paper off of the gifts and had a blast playing with all of his new toys! Here are a few pictures.

Of course a baseball on a tee and bat are needed for the grandson of a baseball coach! : )

Chapman got a wagon from his Grandma & Grandpa Ogles! We can't wait to take

him on a stroll when it gets warmer!

Mitch & Ricky with their deer

We had such a fun time seeing everyone over the holidays. God has richly blessed our lives in so many ways! We are so thankful!

Walking on the Wild Side!

Chapman has learned to walk and it is so darn funny watching him. He went from standing up for a few seconds at a time to taking 16 steps before falling. My mom called it the "Frankenstien Walk" at first because he walked with locked knees and arms straight out in front of him for balance. But now he's got it and loves going wherever he pleases! Not so good for mom and dad but hey, that's part of it. We hear little pitter, patter all over now. Here are a few action shots of him from today.

My mom's sister, Barb, got him this blow-up Snoopy for his birthday. We blow it up during the day and Chapman loves to go over and see it.

Mitch's Deer

So, I would be a *bad* wife if I didn't give some love to the 11 point buck Mitch shot on Christopher Bean's land on Saturday. He was sure happy & I was told that I'll have a new centerpiece for my mantle. (Yeah, right!) Anyway, here is a picture. (Oh, and that's Doc ((Christopher & Cindy's dog)) drooling at the sight of the deer!)

Good Friends

We have been so blessed with many wonderful friends since moving to Jackson. Here are a few pictures of some of them.
These pictures were taken at our house this weekend. We watched the Alabama/Florida game.

This picture is from our Small Group Christmas Party. We are in a Small Group with 4 other couples from our church (Pinelake). The Kennedy's were delightful hostesses last night. We had a blast. We are very blessed to have such a great small group! It's hard to see everyone but here's who they are: Ashley & Bill Kennedy, Lindsay & Casey Westbrook, Sara Beth & Allan Maples, Emilia & Chris Blake
